How to Enjoy Raw Honeycomb

Cut off a small piece and enjoy it directly from the comb. You can also serve it on warm toast, with cheese and crackers, on a charcuterie board, or as a natural topping for yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, pancakes and desserts.

The honey can be eaten together with the natural beeswax. The wax has a soft and pleasantly chewy texture. Some people swallow the beeswax, while others chew it and discard the remaining wax.

The colour, flavour and aroma of raw honeycomb may vary naturally depending on the flowers visited by the bees and the season of harvest. Each package may also vary slightly in shape, colour and weight because honeycomb is a natural agricultural product.

Storage Instructions

Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use. Refrigeration is not normally required.

Raw honey may naturally crystallize inside the comb over time. Crystallization is a normal natural process and does not mean the honey has spoiled.
